Emoticons for Blogger Blogspot

I did a similar entry on how we can get smilies going on our blogspot blog not too long ago (yesterday to be exact ).. then as I was surfing to see if there was an easier way to do it.. what did I find??

AN EASIER WAY TO DO IT!!!

But this is only for you if you have firefox and installed greasemonkey before though . If before I’ve blogged about how you can “see” smilies in your comments, now you can include smilies in your blog entry! Just follow the steps below ok

1. Install Firefox
2. Install Greasemonkey
3. Download and install this script for the Basic Smilies
4. Then if you like you can download and install this script for Funny Smileys
5. Go to Layout section of your blog and click Edit HTML subtab . Now add this CSS code above ]]></b:skin>
   img.emoticon {
   padding: 0;
   margin: 0;
   border: 0;
   }
6. Note: You will only see these smilies in “Compose” Mode. Also for some reason, according to the developer, the emoticon would always be at the bottom of the page no matter where you put your cursor. Easy solution? Just drag and drop where you want the smilies to be

Edited: I know that although some readers have no problem installing this hack, there are some that were not successful using this tutorial. So here’s another tutorial that might help
