I am bitten. Bitten by Reality TV bug that is. I just love watching Reality Shows. It started with game shows like Survivor and The Apprentice. Now I'm hooked to among others, Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmare and Amazing Race. Ahh! The stress level while watching these shows will go up at an all time high, I tell you.
Azwaj refused to watch with me coz he said these shows only highlight people's bad behaviour. While I totally agree, it won't stop me from watching...lolzz! The only show he does watch is American Chopper because of all the super cool bikes they built.
If you are bitten too, just like me, you might want to head on RealityBug dot com. Here you can find what's new, show updates, even casting call, in case you might want to participate yourself! There's even a message board that you can post at to "discuss" your favorite show with others fan.
Join me there ya :)

Back to School?
A few friends of mine both online and offline are going back to school nowadays. First it was GK, then Natrah and now another close friend is returning to her studies too although she's doing it slightly differently. She's doing it online! I really admire her for doing it because not only is she working, she is also a wife and a mother to two wonderful boys. Where do this people find the time??
I think it is totally a grand idea though. I mean if I can shop online and earn online, what is wrong with studying online right? I might even consider taking the various Online Management Courses available nowadays. No doubt I won't need the certification per say coz I'm working with my hubby but it would be a nice achievement if not anything else.
So with those thoughts in mind, I let my fingers do the searching and I stumbled upon Kaplan Open Learning. The site has detailed information on all the courses the campus has to offer, entry requirements and how to apply for those courses. If that is still not enough, you an even request to download prospectus, do a virtual tour of the campus or request for a callback.
I must confess after reading "Why Study with Kaplan?", I'm pretty intrigued. Imagine, flexibility
in finishing the course you are taking. You can take from 2 years to 5 years to finish one course and as long as you have access to internet, you can study anywhere in the world! And get this, rather than exams, you have assignments! You'll get free textbooks and you'll be a graduate of University of Essex. Also the courses are economical as you can see from their "Fees and Financing" section.
Hmm... yes.. definitely intrigue ![]()

Business Loan Woes
Back when Azwaj was a sole proprietor and dreadfully needed any kind of Business Loans to fund his projects, he encountered so many hindrances that made the running of this company really difficult.
Business loans were so difficult to get approved then as it seemed the financial institutions here are only interested in helping you if you've already got money in the bank. Hello! If we already have money, would we still you?? Duh!!
Unfortunately we don't have site here like EZUnsecured dot com that can help new business set up at the same time guarantees excellent service, easy processing as well as fast funding. They don't even need collateral!
It would have been such a great help then when Azwaj was just starting out.

Computer Woes??
I think anyone who reads my blog would know that my hubby is in the computer sales and services industry. He has been doing this for fifteen over years and from a small sole proprietor, he now has a partner and formed his own private limited company which serves government bodies, municipal councils, private companies and also members of the public. If you think I'm proud of my man! You bet your horses I am.
So if anyone in KL would like an expert to attend to your PC, feel free to contact me ok and we'll work on a special LJL price ![]()
However, if you are in another country and can't get the services that my hubby offers, then head on over to Fast-Teks Computer Repair, another expert in this line for your computer repair service.

Are These Really Rentals??
We were over at our old rental unit just to see if we still have mails being sent there and true enough we still do. These companies just don't update addresses do they?? Well I'm ranting but this is not the post for it.. next post will the complaining post.. this post will be about rental units!
Yeap rental units that are too die for over in Lewisburg PA. Located near Bucknell University and downtown Lewisburg, the company Lewisburg Luxury offers the highest quality house rentals and apartment rental in that area. All their rental units have chef's kitchen, beautiful wood floors, Kohler fixtures, radiant-heated bathroom floors, central heating and cooling, in-unit laundry facilities and are design for energy-saving.
So if ever I decide to move there, I sure know which company to look for ![]()

I Need Some B12 shots
Let me say this before I start, I am not complaining. I love my current lifestyle though it may seem weird to most. Me and Azwaj are night owls. We are nocturnal creatures. We rise at sunset and sleep at sunrise, though sometimes, even then, we are still awake (like today for instance).
I know this must not not be good for us but so far our bodies are not complaining and we are in the pink of health :).... though I must admit it scares me that some articles that I've been reading stated that with not enough sleep, your body tend to slow down and that would affect the metabolism rate.
Yikes, I need to lose weight not gain any!! Perhaps I need to get me some B12 injection for weight loss and weight maintenance like the one I found at MyDietSolutions dot com. In case you don't know, B12 vitamin helps in the formation of red blood cells and for the proper functioning of the nervous system. People who take it tend to burn more calories through increased movement as you tend to want to move about more when taking the vitamin supplement. And that is precisely what I need. I need to move about more to lose weight. This site also has other weight loss and diet supplement programs to choose from so excuse me while I browse around the site ok ![]()

The Fighter In Me!!
My mom and late father loved wrestling and boxing matches. So I literally grew up in a household that would sit around in front of the tv on Saturday nights and watched wrestling. We would yell and screamed for the wrestlers to beat each other up and of course cheered when our favourites won. So much like families crowd around watching football or soccer, our sport was wrestling! Oh those were fun times.
Then I started working and my father passed away and suddenly I just stopped watching wrestling and boxing matches altogether. It was just not the same you know.
I only started watching again when I got married and started living in Malaysia. I was a full time housewife and to occupy my time (did not know blogging then), I watched lots of tv and wrestling shows like WWE was the rage. I fell in love with most of the characters. I mean, who won't love the bald yet cutey Stone Cold Steve Austin, the Hardy Boys, Christian and Edge, Chyna and Lita! Wowee!!! And the best, it was like watching a mini soup opera coz all of them had characters. Hubby even obliged me by renting past episodes just to catch up with who won what and who dated who..lolzz.. and of course, who could miss, The Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summer Slam and the likes! Oohh I was addicted all right..hehhe..
Then yet again, the finesse wore off because the characters kept changing, the plot became boring and the fights began to look staged (I know it was staged from the beginning but now it's really looking staged). So once again I stopped watching and have not watched another match since.
Recently though my interest was sparked again by the boxing re-match between Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather in September. Their first bout that broke all PPV records last May in Las Vegas grossed USD134.4million. So this should make an interesting match to watch. I wonder if I can get the De La Hoya vs Mayweather tickets or something if I wished hard enough ![]()

Gift for Mama
My MIL's, or fondly known as Mama, birthday is coming soon. Me and hubby really don't know what to give her. I mean, what do you give a woman who has it all right? So we always give her gifts that would remind her just how much we love her. Things like little photo frame that says "Mommy, you're the best" or Fridge magnet that we can put our photo with words that say, "We love you" or just customized mug with her name and picture on it.
This year though, we decided to give something fun that she can wear. We thought of custom t-shirts. We were surfing around and stumbled upon this site that does this kind of thing. It's called BlueCotton.com DesignStudio and what's great about this site is you can literally design your own t-shirt from scratch. They have different type fonts and fonts effect and even cliparts that you can choose from. You can even upload your own design or photos if you wanted to. And it is all so easy.
This is what we have come up with:
Lovely right? We hope Mama would like it too ![]()

I accompanied my hubby to this client's place the other day. While he was attending to one particular workstation, I was happily tapping into the client's (who happens to hubs friend as well) his 4mb internet connection. Boy, was I having fun, everything was fast fast fast.
Then, suddenly one of the employee asked me where is the console cable. I was like "..er... not too sure... I have to check ok".. He said ok and off I went to look for my hubby..I got to admit I did not know what that guy was referring too...lolz.. I guess I need to know lots more when it comes to being the technical guy's wife...sigh..

Perhaps I can have carpet if...
...we had a company like Dalworth Carpet Cleaners Dallas here in Malaysia.
If you're read my warzone post you will know exactly the reason why I can't have carpet. My kitties have free reign of the house and they roam freely anywhere they want to go, minus the bedroom coz of my asthma. Because of this, any number of accidents might happen and with a carpet in tow? No thank you. Now if there was a carpet cleaning company like Dalworth that provides not only carpet cleaning but pet odor removal as well, I may change my mind.
Like I said before.. TGIF! Have a good weekend everyone :)

My Dream Rental
If I ever become a landlord one day, the apartments units or houses that I would offer for rental would all be of the Bucknell Apartment standards. Their slogan says it all: "Even Rentals Should Feel Like Home" and how I agree to that. The rentals that I've been in, although I would say are not slums, the owner, I believe, could have made it more comfortable for all their
tenants, like installing kitchen cabinets for one, water heater or even additional power points!
All Bucknell apartments offers chef kitchen (check out their picture ), beautiful wood floor, Kohler fixtures, in-unit laundry facilities and energy savings design. Awesome right?!
Ahh.. My Dream Rental!!

Moving again!
When I was living in Singapore, throughout my thirty one years, I only moved three times. The first was when I was 6yrs old, to our first HDB apartment, the second when I was twenty eight to a larger apartment and the last one when I was thirty one to a smaller apartment that I bought for my mom to stay in when I got married and moved to Malaysia.
Ever since I got married, I moved like four times in eight years! Wow! Now it seems we are moving AGAIN! I have grown to such an expert in packing that I can just look the box and tell whether the stuff would fit in there or not.
So now, we are actively looking for boxes and moving companies. We actually prefer the one we had on the second move as they were very professional. W had to use another company on the third move as they were not available for private move anymore. They are more into international move sort of thing.
How I wish we have the services of Relocation dot com. This website provides listing of licensed movers and provide a quotation for all states depending on the size and distance of your move. Makes life really easy don't you think? Oh they also provide shipping quotes for your car. International move quotation are also available.

Easter Party Anyone?
Easter was always a big deal at my workplace back in Singapore. My boss, an American, would always host this big Easter party for all the kids of the other partners and the employees, and being his assistant, basically means, I'm the organiser!..lolzz.. but such fun it was too.. I absolutely love organising events and function and this was especially fun as it was for the kids and I can get as crazy as I wanted to. I would get costume for them and I always make sure my boss would dress up as a rabbit no matter how hot it got for him...lolzzzz...
Sometimes some items and toys that my boss would request for the party were not easily found in Singapore. That is when I shop online and I always try to get online shopping coupons to minimize cost. Sites like Coupon Chief for example offers fantastic discounts from companies like Toy R Us and KB Toys.
Ahhh.. those were the days...

Great Gift Ideas
Well I just was just introduce to a site that might make this problem a thing of the past. Cuff-Daddy is an online store that carry a host of cute yet practical items. I just love their novelty cufflinks collection. I mean I can totally imagine giving the pair below to hubby.
or how about this one that can even store a small photo!
Cute right?..I may even start collecting them myself!!Cheerio...
Holy Cow! I want one!
I was checking out some videos over at youtube when I stumbled upon invisibleSHIELD video. This product is amazing. Imagine stretching to 1000lbs and not breaking or tearing! According to their website, Invisible Shield, a thin polyurethane film, was originally created for the military to protect the leading edge of helicopter blades. Now it is made available for the public to protect their devices like PDAs, Laptop, Phones and anything that you fear will scratch. Check out their video here.. I'm sure you'll be as amaze as I was. I am seriously thinking of buying one for Miss Fly!

The Cheaper The Better
You know what I missed doing ever since my surgery? To ride on the motorbike with hubby. I missed our weekend cool evening ride when it's just me, hubby and the bike. I missed the ride up to Bukit Belacan and I missed the short traveling time to anywhere. It's been a month now (very fast eh), and Dr Fauziah had given me six weeks medical leave. So I figured it will be ok to go back to "normal" mode in that time including my motorbike ride. You think?
Another thing I love about the motorbike is that road tax is soooo cheap. Can you believe it is only RM2 for the whole year! Bike insurance is only like RM100 something I think and that's cheap!
And you know what, I just found a site in UK that offers the cheapest prices around for bikes, car, home and van insurance. Their staff are experienced and most importantly they only sell the insurance that you need for your situation. Nothing more, nothing less. So if you are in UK, you might want to check out the website :)
In the meantime, here's a picture of my hubby's bike.. I missed you Mr Yahama!

Chicken, Chicken, Chicken
Do you know what I have been eating ever since I'm recuperating? I have to take care of what I eat. For example, I can't eat any seafood like prawns, squid and cockles for fear that the wound would itch as it heals. I got to stay away from certain fruits for fear of too much acid in the tummy and I got to take some tonic that I don't really enjoy just because it's good for healing.
Luckily for me though, I'm still able to have my chicken. What can I say? I love chicken and you have to admit it is healthier than beef or mutton. Plus chicken is so easy to prepare and cook. You can fry it, you can easily marinate and roast it or even grill it just like El Pollo Loco’s Mexican chicken. Yummy!
By the way, you can view funny videos about El Pollo Loco's Grill chicken over at the website.
